About The Show

The performance follows a young playwright as she creates her first play. She sets out to capture what it means to be young and alive in New York City in hopes of giving voice to what’s real for the youth of her generation. As she struggles to write her play honestly, she uncovers the truth of her character’s lives –and discovers the tragedy that inevitably arises from them. In the end, she, like the characters she creates, discovers the true responsibility that comes with creation, and the triumph of overcoming tragedy.
