City at Peace-New York has three programs for young people. Each cast writes and performs an original musical based on their lives and experiences. These productions are premiered at Off-Broadway theatres in September, January, and May.

Off The Page
The performance follows a young playwright as she creates her first play. She sets out to capture what it means to be young and alive in New York City in hopes of giving voice to what’s real for the youth of her generation. Read more
Under The Lights
City at Peace-New York is proud to present the After School Cast’s show “UNDER THE LIGHTS”. This show is created by the young people in the cast from their own life experiences and their ideas for change around the most serious conflicts they face. Read more

What's The Story
This pilot program, with a cast of 18 has been designed in order to test the hues of smaller program sizes, to facilitate touring the show in the five boroughs and to explore the after-school time slot for CP-NY programming in NYC. This cast’s first original musical, “What’s The Story”, premiered at The Cherry Lane Theatre in the West Village from January 31st through February 2nd, 2008. Read more
