City at Peace was the subject of a full-length HBO documentary entitled “city at peace.”

The President’s Committee on Race named City at Peace a “Promising Program.”

City at Peace was a recipient of the 2001 Mead Award.

A feature film based on the HBO documentary “city at peace” is currently in development by MTV Films/Paramount Pictures.

City at Peace has performed for over 65,000 audience members, including conferences organized by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and the Children’s Defense Fund.

City at Peace has appeared in The Washington Post, Washington Times, Creative Loafing, Whole Earth Magazine, and on numerous TV news programs.
